After its successful launch in 2024, Slater and Gordon is excited to announce the return of its much-anticipated Charity of the Year campaign for a second year.
The campaign will be aimed at supporting charities that make a vital impact in communities across the country, providing meaningful services to individuals with disabilities, impairments, illness and injury.
The chosen charity will be awarded with a significant five-figure donation, as well as Slater and Gordon offering dedicated fundraising support, brand exposure and the opportunity to work closely with the firm’s marketing and business development team over a 12 month period.
Over the past year, powerchair football charity The Wheelchair Football Association was the firm’s selected Charity of the Year 2024, strengthening the charity’s national reach, driving further awareness of its impact as well as delivering fundraising support. The relationship, which continues to develop, also saw the law firm become sponsor of the National League Premiership, which is named Slater and Gordon Premiership for the 2025/26 season.
Dean Williams, Chair of The Wheelchair Football Association, adds, “Being named as their Charity of the Year has been transformative for us. We are a relatively small but ambitious charity with two wonderful members of staff supported by amazing volunteers, and the support we have received from Slater and Gordon since has been truly fantastic.”
Apply here by 30th January 2026, 5pm.
Following this, a carefully selected judging panel will create a shortlist of five finalists, who will then be subject to a public vote to find who will be the next Charity of the Year.
Janine Ferrie, Chief Marketing Officer says, “We’ve already had a fantastic response from charities eager to get involved in our Charity of the Year campaign, which really shows how much it means to the community. We’re delighted to be bringing it back for its second year.
“Working with The Wheelchair Football Association last year was an incredible experience, and we’re so proud of the strong relationship we’ve built together – one that continues to grow.
“This campaign is all about making a real difference, and we can’t wait to start a new partnership with our next Charity of the Year. Wishing the very best of luck to all those applying!”
