Would your organisation like to help play a part in creating a Smoke-Free Greater Manchester? Financial support is available to voluntary, community and social enterprise sector organisations who can create smoke-free spaces and/or hold smoke-free events.
The Smoke-Free Fund is here to recruit VCSE organisations and local people to help Greater Manchester quit smoking. In addition to establishing smoke-free places and/or holding smoke free events all applicants are expected to recruit a number of ‘History Makers’. What are History Makers? History Makers are local people who are prepared to promote smoke-free lifestyles by talking to friends, family, neighbours and colleagues. History Makers will also receive occasional updates by email on how they can help make Greater Manchester smoke-free.
Investments of £1,000 are available for creating smoke-free spaces, and £250 - £500 to support smoke-free events.
These investments are funded by Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.
