We think that people telling their own stories about the experiences that matter to them, and that are important to their lives is powerful stuff. Community Reporting is all about storytelling and helping people to find their voice and describe their own realities through storytelling. We use basic digital skills and pocket technology such as smartphones and tablets to support people to tell their own stories, in their own ways.
Have you experienced homelessness? Have you supported someone close to you through homelessness? Do you work with people experiencing homelessness? Do you provide housing and homelessness support services? Then if so, we’d like to hear your story.
Your stories will then be included in a film that will reflect the situation of homelessness in Manchester. The film will be used to create conversations about the topic with a view to changing attitudes and policies.
