Trustees’ Week is our opportunity to spotlight the vital role trustees play in the strengthening and sustainability of civil society. We bring together insightful learning, ideas and resources to help trustees and those recruiting them.
Taking place from Monday 3 to Friday 7 November 2025, this year it focuses on good governance: an important theme made even more relevant by the upcoming update to the Charity Governance Code.
Exploring how governance is changing
NCVO are launching their latest governance trends report. It explores how governance is evolving across the voluntary sector and what the changes to the Charity Governance Code will mean to good governance going forward.
Drawing on insights from hundreds of people and 70 charities from all parts of the sector, the report highlights where boards are thriving and where they need more support.
Throughout the week, NCVO will share these findings and host sessions on topics including AI, board culture and effective governance, all aimed at strengthening clarity, accountability and impact across the sector.
