High rise creative writing for radio is a three week course designed to help you develop your confidence, writing and public speaking skills. You will learn how to build characters, write dialogue reform radiofrom their point of view and deliver this from an industry standard recording studio. You will develop skills in audio design through creating soundscapes to underscore your dramas, recording and editing dialogue and more; which will result in you having some great content for your creative portfolio. As part of this course your creative writing will be broadcast across Greater Manchester on Reform Radio DAB Radio.

Eligibility: Aged 19 - 30, unemployed with a Manchester postcode
Week one: 20, 21, 22 September
Week two: 27, 28, 29 September
Week three: 4, 5, 6 October
Each session runs 10am - 4pm

Know where you want to be in life but need help getting it in motion?
Positive Frequencies brings together the worlds of wellbeing and Creative Writing. Join Reform Radio every Monday, 10am - 4pm for seven weeks, to develop your personal and professional skills, in a safe space. This course seeks to increase your self-awareness through self-reflection and learning more about your mind and behaviours in response to situations. You will be supported throughout the course by one of Reform’s experienced Creative Practitioners and in-house Wellbeing Manager, Dan (a qualified psychological therapist) who will share their expertise in using creative writing as a way of capturing your journey and telling your story as a tool for increasing wellbeing. This course aims to help you build confidence, define goals and increase transferable employability skills.
