Manchester Museum and Manchester Adult Education are excited to launch a new interactive 6-week course to learn new skills, develop confidence and gain volunteering experience.
Inspired by museum collections and drawing on their unique spaces and staff resources, the course is open to Greater Manchester Residents. Learn more about promoting a successful visitor experience and gain an accredited qualification with units in areas such as presentation skills and customer service.
Boost your employability, digital and practical skills and have the opportunity to take part in advice sessions including careers guidance and signposting to further learning opportunities.
The course runs once a week over 6 weeks from mid-June and there is the option to complete a volunteer placement on completion. Expenses are paid and Chromebook loans and online support is available.
Participants are welcomed from all backgrounds and offer flexible volunteer placements and no experience is necessary.
