Manchester City Council are putting on a fabulous weekend of entertainment on the streets and in the squares of the city this summer where you can be part of making a joyful 'Manchester' tribute to all those we want to thank for helping us get through the past year and a half.
Everyone has their own special way to say thank you and Manchester City Council hope that you would like to say thank you by volunteering to help to deliver the event.
Manchester City Council are working in partnership with outdoor arts experts Walk the Plank to deliver this exciting summer event and there are opportunities to be involved in artist liaison (helping performers find their way from dressing rooms to performance space) and helping at information points.
Manchester City Council are looking for volunteers for both 14 and 15 August to champion the event between 12pm - 6pm.
Travel expenses of up to £5 will be covered and a lunch voucher and a special Thank You Manchester Weekender Event T-shirt will be provided.
