We Stand Together, in partnership with The Whitworth, are offering an opportunity to explore:
- what community means to you
- how you see communities building cohesion, or hope they will do
- how you can represent that through creative or performing art
You could:
- Create postcards and send them between communities
- Put on a display of postcards or other art
- Create a collage, painting or mural representing diversity in Greater Manchester
- Create an animation
- Come up with any other creative idea you want
You should use #WeStandTogether within what you create and make sure you represent the benefits of people coming together rather than being divided.
You could also hold an online event yourselves during #WeStandTogether Month in May, Post it at: www.westandtogether.org.uk to share and they will help to publicise it.
You will also be given an opportunity to present what you've done at two sharing events on the evening of 27 May and morning of 28 May.
