The next Wythenshawe Community Housing Group Heartstart course will take place on Thursday 26 May 2016 at 7pm-9.30pm at the Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre. Places must be reserved in advance but it is completely free of charge. 
The 2½ hour course covers:
• What to do in a medical emergency?
• When to call an ambulance?
• What to do in the meantime?
• Dealing with heart attacks
• Unconscious patient – the recovery position
• Resuscitation (CPR)
• Choking
• Life threatening bleeds
• How to use a Defibrillator
Refreshments will be provided at the end of the session.
This British Heart Foundation affiliated course will be led by Dr Tom Donald and other facilitators from Wythenshawe Community Housing Group.
