The Volunteer Centre Manchester supports not for profit organisations to involve volunteers in their work. We can support with best-practice guidance around the development of volunteer programmes, policies and procedures; we also deliver training around issues that might affect volunteers and volunteer managers. In terms of recruitment, we manage a volunteer brokerage service supporting Manchester residents to find meaningful volunteer roles through our volunteer opportunity database, which is open for any not for profit organisation to post their opportunities on.
