About Jump Space

Jump Space is more than just a recreation centre; it's a vibrant community hub in Stockport, where individuals of all ages and abilities come together to enjoy trampolining, rebound, and sensory play. Our fully accessible facility is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for both disabled and non-disabled individuals. We're on the lookout for an energetic and compassionate Rebound / Trampoline Coach to join our dynamic team and help us elevate our programmes to new heights!

About the role:

As a Rebound & Trampoline Coach, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality coaching sessions, creating fun and engaging activities, and fostering a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. You'll have the chance to innovate and introduce new activities that will help Jump Space grow and reach even more members of our community

What we offer:

  • Hours: Part Time – up to 18.5 hours per week available
  • Salary: £11,544- £11,890.32 (actual salary) depending upon experience and qualifications (£12 -£12.36/hr) reviewed after 6-month probationary period, opportunities to increase salary with additional responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead Inspiring Sessions: Design and deliver trampolining and rebound therapy sessions that adhere to our high standards
  • Innovate & Grow: Introduce new activities to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
  • Mentorship: Guide and supervise assistant coaches, leaders, and volunteers to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Plan & Organise: Prepare and lead sessions, organise groups, and ensure smooth, fun-filled parties and events.
  • Maintain Safety & Progression: Ensure all activities are conducted safely and follow recognised progressions.
  • Evaluate & Improve: Assess the success of sessions, record outcomes, and continuously improve the quality of our programmes.
  • Collaborate: Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay connected and inspired.

What we’re looking for:

  • Empathy & Understanding: A genuine empathy for individuals with disabilities and a commitment to addressing their physical, social, and psychological needs.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with people with additional needs and disabilities is highly valued.
  • Qualifications: Preferred Level 2 Rebound practitioner training or BG Level 2 Trampoline Coach qualification (training available).
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with a variety of individuals.
  • Working pattern:  Working hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9.30am-2.00pm, Saturday 10.00am-3.00pm

Overtime opportunities available for evenings and weekends and competent with basic computer applications.
