Macc: How to Run an AGM

Running a successful AGM and ensuring that trustee responsibilities have been fulfilled as well as utilising the opportunity for the benefit of the organisation. This includes an understanding of the Charity Commission guidelines for running AGMS, including understanding of who the charities’ members are from the governing document of their organisation.

The Learning Objectives for participants:

  •  To understand the preparation and notice required in holding a successful AGM
  • To build confidence of executing and awareness of the process within the context of board and leadership of an AGM
  • An understanding of the follow up required after an AGM

The session features a recording from a previous session delivered by expert trainer:  Dr Alastair Jones.

Alastair is a highly experienced specialist in leadership development, training coaching and consultancy. Alastair has personal experience as a former trustee, a Chair of Trustees and CEO across three different charities (CYM, youth charity, Justlife Homeless Charity, Frontier Youth Trust) and is currently a trustee of the Tour de Manc Charitable Trust.
