Telling the right story on climate change is an essential part of driving the action that our world desperately needs. Are you struggling to get your climate message heard? Communicating Climate is here to help.
Now in its fifth year, this free six-month strategic communications programme is designed for UK-based charities and grassroots organisations working on climate justice, advocacy and community action.
The programme is structured around a series of online interactive workshops, bringing you expert guidance and collaborative sessions. We’ll ensure that you leave with the strategic tools, practical skills and sector relationships needed to make a real impact.
You will:
- Build skills and strategies for campaigning
- Develop impactful climate communications
- Gain personalised support from industry experts, MG OMD and top climate communicators
This year, Communicating Climate has shifted its focus to climate justice and big-picture change. With the political landscape making climate action even more urgent, this year’s programme acknowledges the need to build powerful, solutions-focused campaigns that drive change.
Media Trust have added new guiding principles which inform the shape of the programme, and we’re partnering with even more organisations across the media, creative and climate sectors to deliver cutting-edge content tailored to meet the needs of the moment.
To apply, you’ll need to provide a brief summary of your organisation and campaign goals. Successful applicants will be notified by 7 May and the programme will run from May to October 2025.
