Join Greater Manchester Moving for an exciting CoP meeting to share ideas on technology in volunteering, and updates on Active Lives data and the grant projects.
Following the conversations at the March event, Greater Manchester Moving are excited to bring the Community of Practice back together. This time, Greater Manchester Moving will be placing a special focus on how digital tools can support efforts to reach, recruit, involve, and support volunteers across Greater Manchester. Team Kinetic will be presenting their 'Digital in Volunteering toolkit' and there will be a chance to explore the topic together.
The meeting will also hear from the recipients of the CoP micro-grants awarded at the start of the year. They'll share what they've learnt so far and what more is to come from their work.
Greater Manchester Moving will also share the new Active Lives data on volunteering in sport, physical activity and movement. Greater Manchester Moving will look at the trends and the causes for the data Sport England have collected and its implications for the practice in Greater Manchester.
