Addressing the Gap in Manchester: Women’s Health, Systemic Barriers & the Case for Change- Key Findings & Report

This report captures the key findings and recommendations from the event titled, “Addressing the Gap in Manchester: Women’s Health, Systemic Barriers & the Case for Change” that took place on the 7th of May at the St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green. The event brought together 45 delegates from a range of professions; health professionals, policymakers, community leaders and lived experience voices for an honest, solutions-focused conversation about what needs to change to achieve better health outcomes for women in Manchester and beyond. Through short talks, facilitated conversations and networking, the delegates had the opportunity to discuss and explore the evidence on women’s health inequalities, share frontline insights and identify opportunities for collaboration, as well as any steps to be taken forward.
