The Fund considers nominations to charities providing urgent support or relief to those experiencing financial hardship, to enable them to address immediate needs. Charity funding themes include (but are not limited to) those providing:
- Debt advice or financial support
- Food / energy / baby banks providing essential living supplies
- Support for rough sleepers and individuals without a secure home
- Crisis support for survivors of abuse
- Community centres based in areas of high deprivation (as defined by the Indices of Multiple Deprivation)
Grants range from £250 to £2,500. The fund particularly welcomes nominations from charities that are working in areas of deprivation, and charities that have an income turnover of less than £100,000.
