What does good funding and commissioning look like for the VCFSE sector?
The VSNW Funding and Commissioning Awards 2026 are back, providing an opportunity to recognise the funders, commissioners and individuals who are making a positive difference to organisations and communities across the North West.
Good funding and commissioning is about more than the amount of money available. It is about building relationships based on trust, understanding the realities facing the VCFSE sector and creating the conditions for organisations to do their best work. It can mean flexible approaches, fairer processes, longer-term thinking and working with the sector as a genuine partner.
Do you know a funder, commissioner or individual who deserves recognition? Whether they have transformed the way they work with the sector, taken a more collaborative approach or simply gone the extra mile to support VCFSE organisations, VSNW want to hear about them.
