In December 2012 Volunteer Centre Manchester achieved its accreditation from Volunteering England.
This means we are now officially recognised as the Manchester centre as we have provided evidence that we comply with all six core functions to the required standard based on the track record which has been built up in the last 12 months.
Volunteering England said: "The resubmission evidence has been thoughtfully and meticulously compiled to ensure that there is no doubt that Volunteer Centre Manchester meets all the requirements to pass VCQA in their own right. What is seen is a developing VC with huge potential that is already well serving the needs of the volunteering community in its locality."
