Food Futures - Growing Manchester Programme 2014

Need support to help you and your organisation grow your own healthy, fresh and sustainable food?

Thinking of starting a community food growing project but don't know where to start?

The 'Growing Manchester' programme could be just what you are looking for to help you and your organisation get started or take your project to the next level.

The Food Futures 'Growing Manchester' programme supports new and existing community food growing projects to ensure that local people with an enthusiasm to grow can access the training and support their project needs to succeed.

Following on from a successful evaluation of the programme, Public Health Manchester are excited to launch Round 3 of Growing Manchester, inviting new groups to tap into the available expertise whilst working with existing groups to further develop their projects.

'Sow the City' will be working with Public Health Manchester to manage and deliver the horticultural and environmental training, bringing the expertise to help groups at every stage in their vision to grow food and live sustainably.

So, if you are new to food growing or simply want to further develop your food growing project, why not apply and download the guidance and application packs from the Food Futures website, here: www.foodfutures.info/www/
