Enhancing Communities is the name of SITA Trust's funding programme for community improvement projects.The fund will support projects that make physical improvements to community leisure facilities and historic buildings / structures.
The Fast Track Fund provides grants of up to £20,000, available to not-for-profit organisations with a community leisure amenity improvement project that has an overall cost of no more than £40,000.
Not-for-profit organisations including community groups, parish councils, local authorities and charities can apply.
SITA Trust’s Fast Track Fund provides funding for physical improvements to community facilities. There is a turnaround time of 8 weeks from application deadline to notification; and awards of up to £20,000
Projects in the following categories can be supported:
• Community facilities
• Historic buildings or structures (Grade I listed places of worship and historic buildings or structures with an appropriate designation)
• Sport and recreation facilities
To be eligible for funding through the Landfill Communities Fund from SITA Trust the project site must be within a SITA Trust funding zone.
