Big Lunch Extras - Free training and support for communities from the Eden Project

Big Lunch Extras is designed to help people interested in bringing about small, positive changes in their neighbourhoods. It builds on the success of the Big Lunch which you might have heard of, and which this year saw 4.8M neighbours sit down and have lunch together.

At the heart of the Big Lunch Extras Programme is a free three day Community Camp at the Eden Project, offering inspirational speakers, workshops, tours and the chance to network with others on the programme. This is followed by a series of one-day road-shows across the country, to help develop their skills and keep up the momentum.

Throughout the process, a team of Catalysts will support them as they develop their ideas. These ideas might be around sustainability or creating a low-carbon society, or more generally bringing the community together around a local issue or project.

This opportunity is fully funded which includes travel costs and food and accommodation if required.
