The University of Salford has partnered with Santander to offer internship opportunities to University of Salford students and graduates. The internships duration will be between 1 and 10 weeks with the intern working on a full-time or part-time basis. Full time positions are based on a 35 hour week. 
Funding
Each intern under the programme shall be paid a minimum of £300 per week based on a 35 hour week.
Santander Universities will contribute up to a maximum of £1,500 (one thousand five hundred pounds). For internships between 1-2 weeks Santander will fund £300 per week. Internships between 3 and 10 weeks will be part-funded by Santander at a rate of £150 per week to a maximum of £1,500, to be matched by the SME. These internships will not be fully funded at any point.
Employer eligibility
SMEs employing less than 250 people, with a turnover of £50 million or less. They must be registered and based in the UK. Eligible organisations include companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities.
Start dates and duration
The start-dates can be flexible, but must begin before the end of October 2017. Internships can be full time and part time.
Student and graduate eligibility
The scheme is also more flexible this year in terms of internship length and open to all students from all years of study and graduates (2015 year of graduation and 2016 year of graduation) from the University of Salford.
