The One Manchester Community Soup applications have once again reopened! If you've got a great idea for a community project that needs funding, make sure to apply before 17 April 2018.
All you have to do is complete the an application form telling One Manchester more about your project and how you think it will make a difference in one of their communities, and benefit the people living there. One Manchester will then invite the projects they think will make the most difference to pitch their ideas at One Manchester Soup events held across East, Central and South Manchester during the week starting 30 April.
You'll have four minutes to pitch your idea, but don't worry, One Manchester will give you all the help you'll need to get your pitch ready for day. The local community will then come along to listen to your ideas and debate amongst themselves which projects should be funded while enjoying some food which will be dished out for free.
Once the audience has heard all the pitches, they will then vote and the successful projects will be given funding for their projects.
The four locations for the upcoming Community Soups are:
Monday 30 April 2018 - Church of the God of Prophecy, 300 Moss Lane East, Moss Side, M14 4SS
