Venture Arts need £2,500 to get their new studio fully up and running. Could you help?
Having a learning disability should not be a barrier to becoming a successful artist. At Venture Arts they have a growing number of exceptionally talented artists, whose diverse viewpoints enrich their visual culture. Venture Arts have already proved this at critically engaged exhibitions like The Manchester Contemporary 2017, where for the second year running they sold a whole body of work by an emerging Venture Arts artist.
For some time now Venture Arts has needed a new space for artists to develop their independent practice, and get additional 1:1 support. Venture Arts are thrilled to have found Studio 53, just a few doors down from Venture Arts. It's an ideal spot to embark on exciting new projects, and it'll also provide a fabulous exhibition space, to give their artists the exposure that their work deserves.
However Studio 53 urgently needs seating, lighting, IT equipment and a projector to screen their artists’ films and animations.
Venture Arts need £2,500 to get the studio fully up and running.
Could you help?
