GreaterSport is looking to recruit two board members who are passionate about changing the lives of Greater Manchester residents. GreaterSport are looking for people who would like to give back to the local community with influence and expertise in one of the following sectors: 
- Legal
- Education and voluntary sector / specifically young person focused
- Skills and Workforce
- Financial Management
- IT
- Safeguarding
- Human Resources
GreaterSport are one of the leading Active Partnerships in the country tasked by Sport England to support the delivery of the Governments strategy for sport and physical activity, ‘Sporting Future’. GreaterSport’s role is to help create the conditions for success, participating and encouraging collaboration and co-production, brokering relationships and sharing insight of people and place.
Your role will predominantly be to:
- Take high-quality strategic decisions to allow GreaterSport to grow its value
- Bring sector expertise to the board and team
