Over 3,000 of you have expressed an interest in volunteering, and although that is incredible, we know that there are simply not enough opportunities to meet this demand and we cannot guarantee a volunteer role for everyone. Our team is working hard to support voluntary and community groups. We are helping them to assess what their needs are and supporting them to recruit and manage volunteers safely. A mutual aid group is a group of local people who organise informally to support one another and the needs of their local community.
