The National Lottery Heritage Fund want to kick off 2021 by celebrating the great work done by the heritage sector during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
On Monday 11 January, The National Lottery Heritage Fund will be running their annual Heritage Treasures day, and they’d like you to join in the celebrations.
What is Heritage Treasures day?
It is an annual campaign The National Lottery Heritage Fund run on social media to showcase everything that is great about heritage. 2021 is its 5th year and they want to make it bigger and better than ever before.
For Heritage Treasures Day 2021 The National Lottery Heritage Fund will be focusing on the people that enabled the sector to keep going, and the places and online heritage programmes that kept us uplifted, in difficult times.
How do I get involved?
On Monday 11 January simply share on social media a photo or short video clip of your heritage treasure (e.g.: your museum, building, site, park or heritage story) and describe why it’s important and what you did to keep going during the pandemic, use the hashtag #HeritageTreasures and tag in @HeritageFundUK and your local area account on Twitter, and @heritagefunduk on Instagram.
The National Lottery Heritage Fund will share your posts on their social media channels throughout the day.
