Free and funded support/training for small local organisations

beyondBeyond is a free programme of design and digital training to help non-profits adapt and respond in times of crisis. The programme is available to all non-profits in England. It also provides four sectors working with those hardest hit by Covid-19 access to coaching from experienced practitioners and additional sector-specific training. Those are financial wellbeing, early years, mental health and sexual and domestic violence.

Beyond offers practical training to help adapt your services and know what to do next with digital. Courses are designed modularly so you can choose how much time to commit. All free for non-profits in England working with communities affected by Covid-19.

Design thinking in times of crisis – Learn how to find, prioritise and test new solutions to tricky problems, fast. This course is ideal for people in charge of service delivery and improvements.

Developing a digital approach – Learn how to review and adapt the digital and technology landscape of your organisation to better fit your needs now and in the future. This course is aimed at small charities who don’t have access to digital and technology expertise.

Digital Product Management – Develop a clear plan for implementing a new digital product or service within your organisation. This course is ideal for people working on digital programmes or services within small and medium sized charities.

Huddles – Providing four sectors working with those hardest hit by Covid-19 access to coaching from experienced practitioners and additional sector-specific training.

Huddles are small group sessions facilitated by an expert coach to help reflect on and practically apply training. They are curated by sector (Early Years, Financial Wellbeing, Mental Health and Sexual and Domestic Violence) for those working with some of the communities hardest hit by Covid-19.

Huddles follow a 5-part design thinking course; with one hour training and 90 minute group session a week. They are a chance to share, learn, connect and go deeper with your learning.
