The Lord Mayor of Manchester has given us a video thanking volunteers and their contribution across the city, on behalf of himself and Manchester City Council. He acknowledges the crucial role played by volunteers of all types, this year more than ever as Volunteers' Week celebrates its 40th birthday. Watch the video below and use the link to distribute to any volunteers you know or work with:
Take some time this Volunteers’ Week to reward and recognise the contribution that volunteers make to your organisation by nominating them to receive a certificate of recognition from Volunteer Centre Manchester, electronically signed by the Lord Mayor of Manchester.
These certificates are for organisations that have activities in the city of Manchester. If you are not eligibile for this scheme, NCVO has produced a volunteer certificate template that you can customise and use to recognise your volunteers.
Please note: we are ONLY offering electronic copies of volunteer certificates for Volunteers' Week 2024, there is no deadline for the form to be submitted.
Thanks to the Tech for Good Alliance and staff volunteers from BJSS for making this offer possible.
