The Santander Foundation Financial and Digital Empowerment Fund is focused on helping people in the UK to become digitally and financially empowered.
The Santander Foundation want to give people the tools, knowledge and confidence to make better decisions about money and will award £1.8 million over three years to 12 UK charities or Community Interest Companies to have a greater impact in communities.
Grants of up to £150,000 per organisation will be awarded over a three-year period. You can request differing amounts in each of the three years, but the minimum amount requested in any one year must be £25,000 with the maximum of £150,000 over three years.
To apply for a Santander Foundation Financial and Digital Empowerment Fund, your organisation must be based and working in the UK on initiatives that support financial and digital empowerment, and be a UK registered charity or Community Interest Company.
You must also have:
- At least 3 unconnected Trustees, Directors or Management Committee members
- An annual income above £75,000 but below £2 million
- A bank account in the organisation’s name with at least two unconnected signatories
- Been operating for at least 18 months and have at least one set of annual accounts
