One Manchester are currently inviting applications to their Social Recovery Fund and are looking to offer grants of between £2,000 and £10,000 (from a total fund of £50,000) to rebuild and grow new connections in our communities.
One Manchester want to hear from organisations that help isolated people in our communities to make friends and socialise in their community, to get them the help they need, when they need it.
One Manchester are particularly interested in projects that engage with individuals and communities that are at a greater risk of being isolated or lonely, and may not be engaging with other support available. This may for example include people with health conditions and disabilities, people who live alone, older people who lack friends and family, or people who are new to our city or in transition and need support to settle.
One Manchester can accept applications from Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations that are Manchester based, predominantly serving residents in the following Manchester neighbourhoods:
- Abbey Hey
- Ardwick
- Beswick
- Clayton
- Fallowfield
- Gorton
- Hulme
