This is a new funding opportunity for small charities and social enterprises in Greater Manchester. The programme is offering unrestricted grants of up to £30,000 in Summer 2023 to help small 
charities and social enterprises develop, grow or become more sustainable.
Successful applicants to Forefront North West will receive:
- A grant of up to £30,000 of unrestricted funding over 1-3 years
- Access to free, highly skilled support provided by experienced professionals
- Access to our programme of skills training workshops, covering areas such as fundraising, communications, finance, strategy and more.
- A fully funded place on an impact measurement course
Who is eligible to apply?
All registered charities, CIOs, CICs and CBSs with an annual income of under £500,000 and where the majority of your beneficiaries are based in Greater Manchester are welcome to apply. Eligibility quiz
Forefront North West grants are intended to create a step change for your organisation. What do you need to get to the next stage of your development? The grant might help your organisation to grow, increase your staff capacity, serve a new beneficiary group, become more sustainable or make your systems more efficient.
How to apply
- Attend the information session on 12 April, 12pm to 1pm (on Zoom) to understand how you can make the best possible application for funding. Please register if you would like to receive the recording after the event, even if you cannot attend on the day. Sign up here:
- You will need to register your interest. Registration will be open for one week from 12pm on 11 April to 12pm on 17 April. During this time, you need to register your interest on the Applying For Funding webpage (this will take 2 to 3 minutes)
- On the 18 April, all registered applicants will receive confirmation that they have been allocated a place on the funding round along with details of how to apply. If there are more applicants registered than places available, places will be allocated at random.
- Once you have received confirmation, you will have 3 weeks to write your application before the application deadline on 9 May 2023, 5pm.
- Submit your application through the link provided in your confirmation email.
