This financial year there is £200,000 available to apply for from the Stronger Communities Fund which supports ambitious community groups in Manchester's to improve the lives of those around 
them and make our great city even greater.
The fund focuses on supporting grass roots charities and community groups. Ambitious groups are able to apply for up to £4000 with projects that address one or more of the following criteria:
- Reducing loneliness and isolation
- Positive youth activities
- Helping in the early years
- Protecting and improving open spaces
