Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) are delivering in partnership with Charity and Voluntary organisations a free workshop on the DBS Update Service for recruiters and employers, giving opportunity to learn more about this service and the benefits to organisations in its use.
The workshop will explore:

- Which DBS certificates can be registered with the service
- Benefits of the service to applicants and recruiters
- Status checking and interpreting the results
- Update Service and Home-Based positions
- Using the Update Service when recruitment decisions are made off site
