Creative City England Friends of Hukme Park
Poetry-writing and zine-making workshops for three youth groups in Longsight on the theme of hopes and dreams for the area Trialling a “Fathers’ Corner” aimed at improving relationships between fathers of East European-origin and their children through the teaching of games and activities the fathers played as children A series of guided local history walks for Hulme residents, highlighting places of historical interest including the engraved floor plaques in Hulme Park, whilst encouraging walks as a healthy activity

Let's keep growing Manchester BME Network Out in the city
Gate sign-making workshops for local children and families to support the development of a community garden in a network of residential alleyways in Longsight A new awards ceremony celebrating the work of small grassroots BAME voluntary community groups from various communities across Manchester Providing basic tablet-computers, training and supporting the set-up and use of a Facebook page, bringing together lonely and isolated older LGBT+ residents from several parts of the city

Producing a free one-hour theatrical performance to raise awareness of Endometriosis, its impact on women’s physical and mental health and exploring positive relationships in younger couples
