Funding is currently available for charities and projects that support young people’s development.

Funding will be awarded to charities that empower young people to realise their potential,
make informed life choices, and become active, responsible, and engaged members of society.

This can be achieved through promoting mental wellbeing, fostering skills development, and
advancing education.

Projects that will be typically funded:

  • Youth employment and skills development
  • Child and family support
  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Young and young adult carers (Under 25)
  • Education and training (not including parent, teacher and friends associations)
  • Programmes supporting children who are considered persistently absent from school, those leaving school with no qualifications, and children and young people in/leaving care

Grants of £10,000 and £20,000 per year are available for 3 years for registered charities in Lancashire, Greater Manchester and South Cumbria.
