The We Love MCR Charity are proud to announce the re-opening of the Manchester's Rising Stars Fund. The fund offers support to young Mancunian's to move towards their ambitions in education, training and entrepreneurship. The fund has supported over 300 young people to excel in varied fields including sports, science, trades, health, law, fashion, social care, teaching, cybersecurity, art, and music.
The charity is hosting a lunchtime learning session on the 21st January from 12.30pm - 1pm where attendees will get the chance to learn about the fund, how the support for young people has been extended for certain groups in 2025 and how young people can make an application to the fund. The charity are thrilled to welcome to the session the Deputy Chief Executive of Manchester City Council, Paul Marshall, Ibrahim, a young person who has been supported by the fund and Marie, the Grants manager, who will detail how young people can apply to the fund.
