This vital event brings together health professionals, policymakers, community leaders and lived experience voices for an honest, solutions-focused conversation about what needs to change to achieve better health outcomes for women in Manchester and beyond.

Through short talks, facilitated discussions and networking, we’ll explore the evidence on women’s health inequalities, share frontline insights and identify opportunities for collaboration. 

Together, with partners from the VCSE sector, Manchester City Council, the NHS, the University of Manchester and national voices, we’ll discuss local challenges, priorities and innovative solutions aligned with the refresh of the national women’s health strategy and local initiatives taking place in Manchester and GM-wide.

  • Consultant Midwives, Manchester Foundation Trust, NHS
  • Jackie Driver, Associate Director for Equality and Inclusion at NHS GM,
  • Sharmila Kar, Joint Director for Equality, Inclusion and Engagement at NHS Manchester Integrated Care Partnership/Manchester City Council
