Growing a Culture of Prevention: Insights from leaders shifting systems

Across the GoodLives GM Leadership Collaborative, Early Family Help and Live Well, leaders, practitioners and communities have been exploring ways to tackle some of the system barriers we all recognise in our work, like siloed working and competing accountabilities.

GoodLives GM have been gathering learning about what it really takes to grow:

• Leadership that reaches across places
• Equal voluntary and statutory partnerships
• Cross-sector, multi-agency teams, and
• Trust in communities and their leadership of change

As well as a ton of hope and inspiration for the future of Greater Manchester’s places and public services, the insights and ideas leaders are sharing provide practical and relevant clues we can all learn from as we refresh our focus and double down on neighbourhood working and prevention in Live Well.
