Manchester Homelessness Partnership – No Wrong Door Event

Date & time: 23 September 2024, 9:00am - 12:00pm
Venue
City Labs, Nelson Street, Manchester, M13 9NQ

No Wrong Door is a way of working that aims to improve the experience of people with multiple needs accessing services. It is built around a set of principles that services adopt and are focused on the areas of Access, Information, Practice and Expertise. The aim of No Wrong Door is to ensure that people feel listened to and they see action is taken to meet their needs.

No Wrong Door was an initiative led by Inspiring Change Manchester and Shelter.

Manchester Homelessness Partnership wants to explore with you this initiative and understand how this work can develop, what is currently working well, where are the gaps, and how we strengthen partnership working.

We are asking you as a staff member to bring along people with lived experiences of homelessness to participate in the conversations. Travel expenses can be reimbursed and there will be refreshments and lunch available.

We recommend you read the 2019 evaluation report here which does also include a summary to better understand why No Wrong Door is important for improving outcomes for people experiencing homelessness.
