Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust invite you to come and join them at their forthcoming virtual Members Engagement Session.

The online events give you more opportunities throughout the year to hear about developments across the Trust, engage with Trust clinicians and leaders and ask questions about the issues that matter to them.  These virtual sessions sit alongside their regular in-person events, including the Annual Members' Meeting held each September (this year on Tuesday, 29 September 2026), and Young People’s Event held each November (this year on Tuesday, 24 November 2026), making it easier than ever to stay informed and involved wherever you are.

Out-Patient Transformation: Right Care, Right Place, Right Time
This session will focus on how we’re transforming outpatient care to make it simpler, safer and more convenient for patients, their families and staff.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust know that many people can face long waits for appointments and may not always feel clear about what happens next in their care. Their ambition is simple – every patient receives the right care, in the right place, at the right time, with clear information about what happens next.

During the session, you’ll hear about:

  • Right Place, First Time – Making sure patients can access the most appropriate care without unnecessary delays.
  • Every Appointment Counts – Making the best use of appointments so patients receive timely care and support.
  • Informed Patients, Clear Next Steps – Providing clearer information and communication so patients know what to expect and what happens next.

You will also hear about the progress being made and have the opportunity to put your questions directly to colleagues leading this work.
