This year’s Annual Members’ Meeting also includes a ‘Community Health Fair’, that gives you and our wider communities the chance to meet the teams, pick up practical health advice, take part in activities and health checks. As well as learning more about how Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust are improving and transforming care for our patients.
Across the event, you’ll have the chance to learn more about the latest developments across MFT and explore a range of topics, including:
- Clinical conditions, patient pathways and health advice – including cancer screening, surgical robotics and women’s health
- Digital healthcare, innovation and research – including AI, MyMFT app, genomics and virtual reality training
- Inclusion, diversity and health inequalities – including neurodiversity, learning disabilities and ethnic minority health
- Prevention, self-care, wellbeing and community support – including winter wellbeing, vaccinations and mental health support
- Careers, volunteering and opportunities to get involved – including apprenticeships, volunteering and career conversation
- Patient experience, safety, quality, transparency and future plans – including PALS, infection prevention and the North Manchester General Hospital redevelopment
Guests will hear from clinicians about some of the latest developments in robotic-assisted surgery, brain health and skin analytics. How Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust are working to address health inequalities and learn from patient experiences. Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust will also share key information from their Annual Report and Accounts 2025/26, including their achievements, future plans and how members can continue to be involved in the work of the Trust.
