Join Greater Manchester Moving to help better connect University students to sport and physical activity volunteering opportunities.

Greater Manchester has one of the largest University student populations in the UK, with leading Universities drawing students from across the UK and beyond. Greater Manchester Moving know that young people are drawn to volunteering by their passion for social justice, care for their communities, and as an avenue to employment. But the connections between Universities and sport and physical activity volunteering opportunities aren't as strong as they could be.

Greater Manchester Moving’s Autumn meeting is all about how they can better engage University students in sports and physical activity volunteering opportunities across Greater Manchester.

Greater Manchester Moving will learn more about the unique wants and needs of potential student volunteers with speakers from UA92, University of Manchester, Salford University, and Manchester Metropolitan University. The University guests will also share how they advertise volunteering opportunities to their students, and help CoP members to link into these systems.

If you want to better engage students in volunteering then this meeting is for you.

There will be a free lunch available from 12pm-12.45pm.
