This session is all about supporting the VCSE sector in Greater Manchester to get familiar with open data and how it can benefit their organisations. We’ll break down what open data is, why it’s important, and—most importantly—how you can actually use it to make smarter decisions, improve your services, and create even more impact in your communities.

• Macc's journey to Open Data: Hear about how Macc are advocating the use of open data and leading by example.
• GMCA Research Team: The GMCA research team will be attending to support us to understand what data is already available and being used in Greater Manchester.
