Description of the opportunity:

Northmoor Community Association is a charity based in Longsight, we aim to relieve poverty, promote health & wellbeing, advance skills & learning and enhance the quality of life for the people who engage with us and use our services.

 

We need help with spreading information on local activities and services to the local community and improving communication. We have previously done leafleting and door-knocking and are interested in continuing this as improving our outreach and engagement by, for example, improving our graphics and using different channels of communication.
 

Skills needed: Creative, good communication skills,

Skills desired: Confident in making graphics, previous experience in local outreach and publicity, can also speak Urdu or Punjabi or Hindi or Bangla as well as English.

We will provide:
Flexible hours (however the community center is closed on weekends)
Induction
Paid out-of-pocket expenses such as bus fares.
