Community Revival (UK) exists to refresh and revitalise the local community with a range of projects including, training, education, employment, recreation and social activities. Most of our beneficiaries are from the BME community with the majority being women, however, Community Revival engages with all sections of society irrespective of background.

We build capacity and empower unemployed people, who may experience isolation, low self-esteem and confidence. Suitable training courses are offered including health and wellbeing to individuals and families in order to make them active and realise their potential.

We are looking for someone who can help us to raise the funds needed to continue to do this work by scoping, applying for and monitoring funding bids and opportunities.

Key requirements:

• To understand local Greater Manchester Combines Authority priorities.
• To research and gather demographic information in relation to unemployment and deprivation of BME communities within GM
• The opportunity to assess local needs of BME communities who are facing challenges
• To come up with new ideas and proposals that will get some funds to plan  and deliver activities
• Writing bids or proposals to raise income levels to deliver intended activities

You can flexibly work different times and days with some face to face meetings schedule. We prefer that they worked in our office but it is not essential.
