Description of the opportunity:

NHS GM wants everyone to live longer, healthier, more fulfilling lives and have access to the best possible services when they need them. Our aim is to achieve better health and care services for local people, and we need Manchester residents to play a part in helping to shape services that will make a positive difference to people's lives. Help us to shape better health and care today and in the future, in Manchester

Our Patient and Public Advisory Group meet monthly on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 5pm - 7pm, either face to face or on-line using MS teams. There are additional opportunities to be the patient representative on other committees and group within our organisation depending on your experience. Our Patient and Public Advisory Group play a pivotal role in our organisation by providing patient and public feedback  which we use to help us to shape the future of health and care services in Manchester.

Volunteers must be registered with a GP practice in Manchester. We welcome members from all communities in Manchester and are particularly keen to listen and learn about the experiences of people from marginalised communities.
