Description of the opportunity:
Who we are:
Feed My City provide simple, vegetarian, nourishing hot food and emergency food parcels to those most in need in Manchester, Salford, Trafford.
What would you be doing as a volunteer:
As a Food Support Drive, you will arrive at our base in Beswick, where you will help load 100-200 meals into our Feed My City van.
Then you and one or two volunteers will take the van to one location in Greater Manchester — Bury, Rochdale, Bolton, Ashton, etc.
There you will set up and serve the meals to local people in need of food, alongside a community group.
You will then return to our base to park the van.
