Who we are

We organise a variety of events throughout the year to raise awareness of our work, generate vital funds, and provide meaningful experiences for the people we support. Our events range from fundraising activities to community engagement initiatives, all designed to make a positive impact.

What are we looking for

We need enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to help make our events successful. If you are friendly, adaptable, and enjoy working with people, we would love to have you on board. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to get involved.

What would you be doing as a volunteer

• Welcoming and directing attendees
• Supporting activities such as arts and crafts sessions
• Collecting donations (cash and in-kind)
• Providing event information to visitors
• Selling goods and raffle tickets
• Handing out refreshments

Skills and attributes needed

• Flexibility – events happen on different days and times, each with unique activities
• Reliability – once you commit, we count on you to be there

Location and time commitment

Events are generally held at Schools Hill, Cheadle, Greater Manchester, SK8 1JE, though some may take place at other venues. Volunteers are usually needed on Thursday evenings and weekends.
