Who we are:
As the leading children's charity, the NSPCC believes that every childhood is worth fighting for. Discover how you can help us keep children safe.
What are we looking for?
We' re looking for enthusiastic, approachable, and fun-loving people to be an Event Volunteer at NSPCC Fundraising Events in the north west. Around 80% of our income comes from our supporters, and we couldn't continue doing what we do without them. That means, our event volunteers will play an important part in raising vital funds which help to protect children and prevent abuse.
What would you be doing as a volunteer?
You'll kindly volunteer your time at fundraising events, to help raise vital funds for the NSPCC. You could be selling raffle tickets at a Black-Tie Ball or Ladies Lunch, be a cheerer at one of our organised challenge events, marshalling or bucket collecting for the vital work the NSPCC does, all the time engaging with the public, promoting a positive image for the NSPCC. We'd particularly like to hear from you if your workplace offers a matched funding scheme alongside your attendance at a fundraising event.
As an Event Volunteer, you'll work closely with your local Community Fundraising Manager who can provide you with a choice of events to attend.
This role offers the opportunity to build your personal skills and raise your profile in your region. We appreciate that work, family and friends come first and, with that in mind, this role offers flexibility to fit in with your lifestyle. You only need to commit to two to three events a year, but you can do more if you would like to.
